- Cais do Sodré (20 minutes walking or reachable by metro - 3 metro stations only) where you can catch the train to Cascais / Estoril, in a 25 minutes trip by train, or visit Lisbon beaches
- Castelo de São Jorge (you may walk there or catch, in Baixa, the typical Tram 28, which will lead you to the most picturesque neighbourhood - Alfama )

The neighbourhood (São José) has great inexpensive, small and typical restaurants, cafes, grocery shops, fruit and vegetable stalls, butcher shop, bakeries, ATM, and pharmacies very close by (all within 25-50m from the apartments and most of them open 7 days a week). 5 minutes walking distance there's also a nice Fado restaurant (every Wednesdays and Fridays).

Within 2 minutes walking from the apartments you can also find the lovely garden Jardim do Torel, a neighbourhood belvedere whit great views over Lisbon, where you can have a drink or a snack, enjoy a perfect sunset and chill-out. 

Avenida da Liberdade is just around the corner and has everything from high-end luxury stores, antique shops, theatres, cinemas, concert halls, bars like the Hard-rock café and kiosks that serve drinks and snacks till 2am.
